I had the rare opportunity to join some beautiful friends and see many people I know from around Vermont at a soul satisfying concert, Micheal Franti & Spearhead. I think it’s been about fifteen years since I’ve been to a proper concert… amazing how it flies by, and without such joys! As my friend Dov Schiller noted as we were bounding up and down beside one another… “you picked the right show to see after fifteen years!”. And boy was he right. I have been in the loop of personal growth and a deep desire to grow my heart voice and love in my life, starting with love for me. This show was a testament of the fact that many others are also on this parallel track, and I felt overwhelming gratitude throughout the show, not just for the energy around me, but for the fondation upon which Franti stands.
